God has been a rest in the storms in my life for me. In February 2021, I got into a burn-out. I quit studying and it felt like my life was set on hold. I didn't know what God's plan was for me, what I thought was His plan, apparently wasn't. A month later, during a service in church, God talked to me through the rector. He looked right at me while he said: "God has a plan for you, He wants to use you in a way that suits you."  While following Alpha Youth later that year, I realised I wanted to spread God's love through art.

At the start of 2022 I felt like God challenged me to use my creativity to spread His Word. Slowly, plans were forming in my mind and I started making plans for setting up a brand. The fear of failing however was so big, that I didn't dare to actually start. I already had some designs, but decided to let it rest until the time would feel right to start, maybe somewhere along the line I'd have the courage.

The start of September 2022 was that turning point for me. In church, a speaker talked about impact. What has an impact on your life? For me, that was my fear of failing, my fear of not being good enough. At that moment, I had some though weeks behind my back, I constantly felt restless. But that service, I felt a rest in me. God's peace filled me and it felt like He told me that everything was okay, He had a plan with me and I just had to trust Him. Two weeks later, I walked with a rector from church, we talked about the past weeks and how loved we are by God. When I came home, I felt beloved and accepted for who I am.

In the conversation I had with the rector, he told me how we have to ask God to lead us before we can do anything. He told me that everytime I felt worthless or restless, I had to think about times I strongly felt surrounded by God. For me, those insights started to be anchors in my faith. When I got home, I prayed and felt this strong feeling of starting a brand, named Worthy & Beloved, a brand focused on being reminded by how much God loves us, how He gives rest in the storms in our life.

God has moved mountains in my life, mountains I didn't even know were standing in the way. I obviously still have the fear of failing, but I learned that I have to trust God. If this is His plan with me, it will work out. With Worthy & Beloved, I hope and pray that you start feeling God's love, His peace in hard times. I hope that you'll feel worthy and beloved by our God and that you'll be reminded by this every day.
